Can I not put any title yet?

Yes, back to blogging! Just so you know, quite busy with stuff here. Couldn't update a fulfilling post yet. Well, not until semester three officially calls to an end. Have one last test tomorrow (technically, its today) morning. Then, two final papers on the 31st October and 3rd November. As for now, only could update short and so-called brief posts. So, later!

King of The Night.

Funny thing about some Malaysians; they don't appreciate Malaysian artists. In my case, I do. Even I don't follow every and each Malaysian artists, I at least know what's happening in Malaysian entertainment industry. Not all, the latest is enough. Talking about Malaysian artists, do 'check-it-out' on Akim AF7. Not interested? Just shut up and get lost. Why do I like him? Simple. He has the voice, he can compose songs, he has the swagger, and he started from Z to the E to the R to the O, zero! Try and watch his first AF7 concert performance. What a disaster! But he slowly learnt and... BOOM! Today, he's even more popular and way success-er than the winner of AF7. FYI, he only won the third place in AF7. One thing is for sure; he is worth for us to support.

No, no, no. I'm not here to give a persuasive speech on supporting our industry. A big no! Just pouring some points out before you can directly 'hina' and 'kutuk' Malaysian artists. Opss! Again, I am not persuading you to like Akim Ahmad or whatsoever. Instead, this post is about Irfan's first time meeting Akim Ahmad. Well, it happened on last Saturday. Akim's fan club (GAFIM) organized breaking fast event (the event has a glamor name; GAFIM Glamor Ramadhan) with Akim. Immediately after I knew the event, I signed up Irfan's name and mine as well to be there. For me, I only looked forward to meet some of the GAFIMMERS that I am closed with because I had ever met Akim Ahmad already. Not once, but three times already. But for Irfan, he had a different set of agenda. He, of course, wanted to meet Akim Ahmad in person. Then, he wanted to wear his brand new T90 Nike shoes. Well, as this post's title said, Irfan won the King of The Night for his outfit for the night. I was like... WTH?!! But it made him smile all night long. That is enough for me.

Here, I uploaded some of the pictures from GAFIM Glamor Ramadhan. But these pictures are dedicated to my one and only brother, Irfan. So, Enjoy!

First picture with Akim Ahmad.

Second picture with Akim Ahmad.

First 'family' picture with two of GAFIMMERS.

His priceless smile. Thanks to Akim Ahmad & GAFIMMERS.

Third picture with Akim Ahmad.

After countless of picture, Akim Ahmad can still smile.

Second last picture with Akim Ahmad.

Last and memorable 'king' picture with Akim Ahmad.

Onset and coda.

Don't know why the temptation to update blog occurs at times like this. Guess the 'onset and coda' stuff have made the world turns upside down. Seriously, head can as if spin like a spinner after learning those 'onset and coda' stuff. Not complaining, yet, not enjoying any of the stuff. Who cares anyway. Let's move on to more serious stuff rather than onset-ing and coda-ing this already-miserable-life.

Like seriously, I forgot to keep track on how many days have we, Muslims, been fasting. As for me, the one with an already-miserable-life, I don't quite look forward to raya-ing myself. To those who know and concern about my family background, you can already guess why. To those who don't know and interested to know, let me briefly tell you why raya is not in my top list. First, my parents have already gone their separate ways since I was 16. No need to pretend you are pity, look down, or have skeptical thoughts towards broken family's children. Some of them might even be better than perfect family's. But that's not the point here. The point is... It sucks a lot when people like me have to divide raya time into two parts. If both parents are cool with it, then it is okay. But in my case, one party is never okay. I'm always the 'derhaka' one, the 'kurang ajar' child, and the 'tak tahu bersyukur' person. I'm never good to this particular party. For once, why can't you look at my positive side? I'm at least somewhere today. I don't ask more than RM100 per month. I don't even bother to be in your new life (consists of your brand new **** and your precious brand new son). Why me? I thought all this while I have served you with all my heart. If only I can die for you, I would have already be dead by now. I seldom talk about stuff like this. But almost every year after my parents decided to go separate ways, issues like this occur. It is sad, really sad...

Look at the bright side; I should be thankful because I have both my parents, still. Unlike my friends who their parent(s) are already gone to face Allah S.W.T., I have both my parents to occupy my life. If only I'm cool with both parents, I shall ask for nothing more from God (except for good health, wealth, and whatnot). Well, that's about it for now. Later!

It has been a while, hasn't it?

Wow! Like seriously, nearly a month?!! The owner/creator of this blogger site must have cursed me for my irresponsible behavior of not updating blog regularly. HAHHA. Literally, who cares? But whatever is it, it has been a while, hasn't it? Before I forget, starting from now on, I shall just update my blog with only short posts. Unless I have the time to myself, I am occupied enough with some other stuff. So, I am sorry if you find my blog is boring from time to time.

Well, so much to story but so little time is given. Let me see... Yeah, let me tell you about yesterday. Yesterday, 16th of August 2010 was a mixture of happiness and disappointment date. Happiness; it was Irfan's actual 10th birthday. Why actual? Because we celebrated it two days earlier. On the other hand, disappointment is basically caused by a friend of mine, Hairi Imran. He left me in Malaysia for his further study in US. God, I have already started to miss you Hairi. The part where he left me for US is not the disappointment part. It was the part where I was not able to send him to KLIA. Supposedly my Applied Phonetics And Phonology had our first test on that day. But the lecturer cancelled the class literally last minute due to *whatsoever* reason. If I knew there would not be a test on that freaking day, a few close friends and myself would have escaped the class to say the last goodbye in three years time to Hairi at KLIA. Such incident has made me regret like hell. But everything happens for a reason. Maybe we were not supposed to be on road on that day. I believe in God. He must have helped us on that day instead of disappointing us.

Whatever it is, Hairi, we do miss you. You will always be remembered for those stupid and clever things that we have done together. I know there are some other people who miss you more that we do. But I do not give a damn about them. I only care for us, The Volley Gang. So long Hairi, until we meet again...

P/S: I will update a few pictures later on concerning this post.

Friends are more important.

Hello people. Wow! It has been a while (and I really mean it) since I last updated my blog. If God makes blogging as one of the must-do lists in life, I would have been sentenced into jail already. Seriously people, I have literally abandoned my blog, haven't I? For those who wondered why do I have a blog if I seldom update it, get a life people! If you understand Malay Language, 'Woi, sukati mak bapak aku la nak ada blog ke tak nak! Sukati atok nenek aku la nak biar blog aku bersawang ke berkulat! Ada kau susah? Tak hado!' If you only understand so-called lingua franca @ English language, 'Dear readers, this is my beloved blog, not yours. So, get your ass off my blog if you think I am not good enough to become a blogger. Thank you.' Well, I am sure my Drama lecturer would love me more if she reads this. I am being straight forward @ honest here, am I? Well, honesty is the best policy.

Enough with my explanation of why I seldom update my blog. Now is the time for you to be open minded. Read this post with an empty heart and mind because what I am going to talk about might just be you. I know I sounded big, powerful, and somebody. Instead, I am nobody, powerless, and small (as in position in society). But a nobody like me has ample of experience in life, finest thoughts in mind, as well as all-mixed-up feelings in heart. So, I am free to talk about anything, as long as it has nothing to do with ISA-related issues. Cheers!

For 20 years (and still counting... Alhamdulillah!), I have become a friend to many people. Along the way, I have met with all kinds of friends. A backstabber, a liar, or even an opportunist, all of them are in my friends list. But guess what? None of them I hate so much. Not as much as this particular characteristic; using you as a companion whenever theirs are not with them. Believe me, a backstabber I can close one eye. A liar can be ignored. An opportunist is even more simple. Just do the same back to them, be a better opportunist than the original opportunist. Just kidding people! But dumping you whenever their companion is around? That is a big no in my life dictionary. Please, God has given every each of us 24 hours in a day. Why must you use your few hours time with your friends to date your so-called boyfriend or girlfriend? Please find some other time, rather than taking your time with your friends just because your 'spouse' said he or she needs you more than your friends. Unless you are married, you are tied to nobody. If they leave you because you prioritize your friends, so be it! But if your parents said so, that would be a different set of story. Then, when your 'spouse' is gone from your sight, you seek for your friends. What the h*ll is that?

Another thing that I cannot accept is bringing your boyfriend or girlfriend to hang out with your friends. If your boyfriend or girlfriend is invited to hang out with your circle of friends, that is fine with me. If your 'spouse' is in your circle of friends, that would also be okay because your friends have already known who your 'spouse' is. Plus, your friends would already have built a mutual understanding through friendship with your 'spouse'. For God sake, you cannot expect your 'spouse' to walk far away from you when you hang out with your friends. Both of you will want to be together, holding hands while walking, and having time to yourselves. Then, why bother uniting your friends and 'spouse'? Find two different time, will you? But whatever is it, please learn how to juggle between friends and special one.

I know I am being very blunt here and I am sorry. But this is the reality in our society. You only appreciate your friends whenever your special one is not around. Haven't anybody tell you that friends are more important than your special one? I know some of my friends who can juggle friendship and special relationship very well. Maybe because their special ones are in my circle of friends. But the bottom line is being smart in separating your personal life and friendship life. That is all needed.

Friends come and go, real friends don't.

Go and break some rules.

Hello people. How are you doing? I hope everything is fine. Well, it has been quite a while since I last updated my blog, hasn't it? Sorry for not doing what I am supposed to do frequently; updating my blog. I was busy lazy-ing myself while my semester break lasts for another few days. Then I will be heading for my second year as a degree student. I am crossing my fingers, hoping for a better semester than before. Hurm... Talking about semester break, it reminds me about being a student. As what my friends see me, I do break rules at times. Entering class late, smuggling food into library, wearing flip-flops instead of shoes, and many more. But breaking all kinds of rules does not mean you are a bad person entirely.

Many Malaysian drivers drive over the speed limits that have been set by the authorities. On highways, main road, or elsewhere, not all drivers care enough to follow the speed limits. To be honest, I myself do not follow the speed limits all the time. Whenever I feel like driving fast, I just do it. But when it comes stealing people's parking spot, that is too much. Fine, that is not too much. How about stealing OKU's parking spot? Too much, isn't it? I was once sitting at McDonalds with my mother and little brother. It was a coincidence that our seats had the view of OKU's parking spots. So, while we were having our lunch, I saw a car parked in one of the OKU's parking spots. I thought either the driver or one of the passengers were an OKU. But when all of them got out of the car, they were all perfectly healthy. They walked toward Mcdonalds entrance while laughing to each other about something, without any feelings of guilt that they had just taken other people's right. Well, it was such a view while having lunch, wasn't it?

People, if you feel like breaking some rules, go and break some rules then. Nobody will stop you, unless you break rules like smuggling weapons, shooting innocent people, or taking drugs. It does not matter whether you break the rules or not. What matters the most is your consideration. Look, consideration is needed in our life. We have to consider about other people's needs. Yes, speeding can harm you and other drivers as well. But at least you are only harming yourself the most. I believe that you can change. Change your attitude toward others and yourself. That is enough to make this world a better place to live.

Heal the world. Make it a better place for you, and for me, and the entire universe. -Michael Jackson-

Better late than never.

Hello people. How are you doing? I hope everything is doing fine and great. Well, guess what? I am back to blogging! Sorry for my absence in the world of blogging. I took some moments off from blogging because I wanted to really make up my mind on what I want to deliver through blogging. I am quite sure that all this while you are not so thrilled and excited to read my blog. Therefore, I have nothing much to worry due to my absence in blogging world except for the fact that my writing skills are getting rustier than ever. I hope you like the new look of my blog and the way I write my stories. Come on! Give me some credits, will you? I had to do some blog-walking and blog-stalking before I can come out with my very best for this blog. So today, I would actually love to tell you about my point of view on one of the greatest events in the world; World Cup. I know it has been like ages since the opening of 2010 World Cup. But hey, better late than never!

When I was a little child, I had this special bonding with my father. Because of that special bonding, until today, I am a football fan. Being a girl who loves to watch football, I could not escape from typical and skeptical guys' point of view towards girls and women who love football. Typical guys would normally questioned my passion falls for the players or the game. I cannot deny that there are cute, handsome, and masculine football players. But I do not go for looks if we are talking in football terms. I go for hunger and desire of the player in winning the ball from opponents. I am talking about Rooney, Messi, Torres, Ibrahimnovic, Terry, Vidic, Evra, Eto'o, and many more. So guys, never doubt about my interest that I show towards football. I can tell you things that you also might now know about football and you do not want that to happen.

For this year's World Cup, my guess is either Brazil, Argentina, or Netherlands will bring back the trophy to their country. My favorite team? Neither Netherlands, Brazil, nor Argentina. I am a Three Lions fan and forever I will be. No matter what people say, whether England are losers or England can never win World Cup anymore, I just do not care much. My loyalty towards the Three Lions team started off from the first world cup (2002 if I may recall) that I watched after I found out I am a football lover. I am not sure why England. Maybe because I am head over heels with English Premier League and I have been loving Wayne Rooney's desire to win the ball in most games that he has played. Being honest here, I am not interested in other leagues. I do watch Italian and Spanish League. But I only watch because of the teamwork that some of the clubs in those leagues have shown. Barcelona, Villareal, Valencia, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are some of those clubs that work as a team. Still, English Premier league is my first choice.

Well, I am crossing my fingers and hoping that England can play well. They have to work as a team if they want to bring back World Cup trophy. It is hard when a team has more than enough talented, gifted, and experienced players. How to play as a team if everyone wants to show that they can perform alone? This happens to England. Most England players play for English Premier League clubs; Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool, and  many more. Due to the status that English Premier League holds which is one of the best leagues in the world, the players are also high-rated ones. Players like them are hard to form a team that has teamwork because they have developed a strong bonding with their clubs and also stubborn in defending their own ways of playing. Nothing much to say except for Fabio Capello must find a way to build teamwork in his team. Or else, England will stop at quarter-final. I would love to see England through to semi-final. Final is too much I guess. Well, Nike said 'impossible is nothing'. In other way round, nothing is impossible. Until then, I will have to wait and see what the future holds for England. Good luck!

Where there is a will, there is a way.
